De Auditdienst Rijk: investigations with social impact

The Auditdienst Rijk is the independent internal auditor of the Dutch government. We oversee the income and expenses of ministries, investigate whether their organization is smartly designed, and ensure that all data is securely stored. We are also the audit authority in the Netherlands for the European Commission.

With about 600 experts from various fields, we work on investigations to ensure the proper use of tax money in the Netherlands. We work commissioned by all ministries and perform audits in the fields of financial, organizational, and IT issues, as well as the management of European funds.

We organize all our investigations so that we can flexibly deploy our employees to assignments where needed. We perform our work independently and with appropriate expertise as close as possible to our clients. The Auditdienst Rijk is organizationally located within the Ministry of Finance and has five offices in the Netherlands.
